Live animals are available for wildlife photography classes in the bay area.

First, a photography specialist discusses techniques for close-up photography with students.

Next, Pam presents an animal to the classroom which will later be available for photos.

Pam brings the animal around the classroom, offering basic information about its biology and

behavior.  As students become familiar with the way the animal looks and moves, they also hear

about its role in the environment, and  how to approach it safely and appropriately during the

session.

Finally, the photography specialist and Pam work together to position the animal in a

variety of settings which will provide interesting and accessible opportunities for close-up

photography by the students.  Students are not allowed to handle or move the animal.  Pam

will be working to insure the animal's comfort and the safety of class participants at all times.

Two to four animals may be presented during a workshop.  Animals will be available for

photography one at a time, on a rotating basis to give them appropriate rest time.

Sessions can be booked one-on-one with Pam, or through a photography workshop.  The

next photography workshop open to the public is:
