Pam enjoys performing with...

Shira Kammen

Kammen and Swan have been performing, touring and recording together since 2001.  Their trademark arrangements bring a bright edge to traditional Celtic tunes and songs from Scotland, Ireland, Galicia, Brittany, Cape Breton and beyond.  Their album Wild Wood and other information is available at www.kammenandswan.com

Impossible Butterfly (1:12)       (Traditional Irish slip jig set in 10/8 time)

Rapaz Maneo  (0:56)    (Beautiful medley of Galician tunes)

Dunmore Lasses  (1:14)    (Irish reel slowed way, way down)

Foggy Dew / Tam Lin  (0:54)      (Irish air and reel)

Rakish Paddy  (1:23)    (Traditional Irish reel)

Son Ar Sistr   (1:07)    (Great Breton song about hard cider)

Txalaparta / Eu Chorei  (0:40)    (Basque instrument and Galician song)

Chi Mi Na Morbheanna   (0:59)   (Beautiful Scottish Gaelic song)

Mariel Vandersteel

One of Pam's favorite fiddle and stepdance partners is a young woman from Northern California who is well on her way to a great music career.  Pam and Mariel have played concerts, festivals, sessions and pub gigs together in the U.S. and Ireland.

Shay Black

Shay is from the renowned Black family, called "Ireland's foremost family of song."  Pam has enjoyed recording and performing songs with him at the San Francisco Free Folk Festival, California Revels, on West Coast Live, and at his weekly Irish pub session at the Starry Plough in Berkeley, CA.

Cutty Wren (0:39)  (Shay Black and Mitchell Sandler vocals, Pam Swan percussion)

Wren in the Furze  (0:26)     (Pam plays bodhran to Shay's diddlemania)

Oak Ash & Thorn

This incredible trio of talented a cappella singers has been delighting audiences in the U.S. and U.K. for more than 30 years.  Pam counts herself very lucky to have been their manager since 1999, and part of their extended family even before that.  As a singer she was thrilled to perform with them at a St. Alban's concert to launch her Wild Wood CD in 2001 with Shira Kammen.  Check out their website at www.oakashthorn.com
